Tesco Mobile celebrates human connections in campaign
Tesco Mobile, working with BBH London, has launched Your Second Most Important Network, a campaign focused on the personal connections that matter most.
Rather than promoting devices or technology, the initiative emphasizes how Tesco Mobile supports everyday relationships with family, friends, and communities.
The campaign’s hero film captures intimate, relatable moments across different groups, from parents to friends, illustrating how staying connected helps people navigate daily life. The storytelling draws on real families and genuine relationships to create an authentic, warm portrayal of life’s personal networks.
Championing everyday connections
Laura Joseph, Chief Customer Officer at Tesco Mobile: "Your most important network will always be the people you love, the ones you turn to, lean on and share everyday moments with. We’re confident enough to say we’re not trying to replace that; our role is simply to make sure nothing gets in the way of staying connected to them. Your Second Most Important Network is a celebration of those human relationships and a reminder that while we take care of the technology, life’s most meaningful connections are the ones between each other."

Felipe Serradourada Guimaraes, ECD at BBH: "Your second most important network is an incredibly simple, bold and insightful thought for a telco brand. Acknowledging you are not the most important one in the room is a move that only confident brands know how to make."
Multi-channel rollout brings message to life
The campaign spans TV, VOD, cinema, out-of-home, press, radio, retail, CRM, and social. Outdoor and press executions leverage the idea of keeping one’s “most important network” on a phone lock screen as a visual anchor, delivering the message with clarity and simplicity.
The six-week campaign is planned by EssenceMediaCom UK and focuses on communicating Tesco Mobile’s supportive role in maintaining meaningful human connections.
