Engine expands travel card campaign across US

The campaign combines out-of-home advertising, digital media and experiential activations

Corporate travel booking and management platform ,Engine, has launched a multi-market campaign for Engine X, its business travel card, in collaboration with independent media agency Noble People.

The campaign combines out-of-home advertising, digital media and experiential activations aimed at business decision-makers managing travel and expenses.

The campaign will run across Houston, Austin, Sacramento and Tampa, positioning Engine X as a tool designed to simplify corporate travel and expense management for fast-moving businesses.

Multi-channel strategy targets business travelers

Noble People developed the media strategy for the launch, focusing on reaching professionals in situations where travel disruptions and expense management challenges are most visible.

The out-of-home component includes digital billboards, office building displays, airport placements and advertising across commuter routes and shopping centres. The campaign’s largest activation will feature choreographed drone shows in Houston and Austin during the July 4 weekend, with each show featuring between 15 and 20 aerial formations visible from up to a mile away.

Alongside physical placements, the campaign includes video advertising across business and finance programming on platforms including YouTube, CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg and MSNBC. Podcast host-read advertisements will also appear on business and innovation programmes within the Vox network.

Digital placements respond to travel disruptions

The digital strategy focuses on reaching users in real time during moments associated with travel friction. Ads will appear through FlightAware for travellers experiencing flight delays or cancellations, through airport WiFi platform WiConnect, and across LinkedIn and Meta targeting business managers and decision-makers.

Engine said the campaign is expected to generate approximately 315 million standardised impressions with an estimated 90 percent reach across its target markets.

Greg March, CEO, Noble People: "Engine X gave us a challenge: how do you make a business card feel urgent to the people who need it most? Our answer was to stop trying to interrupt their day and start showing up inside it. Every placement in this plan was chosen because it lives in a moment where expense friction is real and immediate. That's when a message actually lands."

Campaign highlights travel and expense management

The campaign supports Engine X, a business travel card integrated into Engine’s corporate travel booking and management platform. According to the company, the product is designed to streamline travel spending and reduce administrative complexity for businesses managing employee travel.

David Mikula, VP of Design and Brand, Engine: "Engine X is built for businesses that are moving fast and don't have time for the old way of managing travel and expenses. This campaign does an excellent job at reflecting that. We're proud of what Noble People put together here."
