Samsung expands mobile cloud gaming platform to Europe

Samsung Electronics has announced the expansion of its mobile cloud gaming platform into Europe, beginning with a beta rollout in the U.K. and Germany.

The launch will give Galaxy users instant access to a growing library of premium mobile titles without the need for downloads or installations.

Seline Sangsook Han, EVP of the Service Business Team, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business, Samsung Electronics: “The platform has already proven successful in North America, where it was commercialized nearly a year ago. Since then, it has quickly become a preferred distribution channel for our partners to reach millions of Galaxy device owners. Now, by expanding to Europe, we’re making it even easier for players to jump into games instantly, while helping our partners reach new audiences, boost engagement and improve retention.”

The platform is already delivering strong business outcomes for developers and publishers through Samsung’s partnership with Moloco, an AI-powered performance advertising company. With Moloco Ads, advertisers have consistently achieved higher-quality user acquisition and stronger 30-day return on ad spend (ROAS).

SpinX Games, a leading mobile publisher, reported a 100 percent increase in 30-day ROAS on campaigns run through Samsung’s platform compared to traditional channels. This success underscores the value of combining instant access distribution with AI-driven ad targeting.

Ikkjin Ahn, CEO, Moloco: “As an AI performance advertising company, Moloco helps mobile app publishers and marketers drive growth and monetization in a privacy-first environment.”

Cameron Zhang, CEO, SpinX Games: “Launching a portfolio of games through Samsung’s cloud platform removed friction and proved the power of instant access with results that clearly demonstrate the long-term value of Samsung Galaxy as a key distribution channel.”

Samsung has also updated its public terms this year to introduce a new 80/20 revenue share model for games on the Galaxy Store, including cloud-native titles. This model is designed to put more revenue in the hands of developers, encourage innovation, and further strengthen Galaxy’s position as a leading mobile gaming ecosystem.

Looking ahead, Samsung is preparing to launch a redesigned Mobile Gaming Hub later this year. The new hub will serve as a unified destination for Galaxy gaming, offering deeper personalization, smarter discovery tools, and community-driven social features. It will also integrate AI tools to enhance gameplay and content discovery, creating a seamless experience that spans play, watch, and community engagement—all within one platform.
