Serviceplan Group brings House of Communication model to the UK
Serviceplan Group has introduced House of Communication UK, uniting its media, creative and technology capabilities in a single structure. The move consolidates the group’s offering in the market and is designed to provide UK clients with integrated services backed by the flexibility of an independent network and the scale of an international agency group.
The new entity will be led by Thomas Laranjo, currently CEO of Mediaplus Group UK, who becomes CEO of Serviceplan Group UK. His remit includes rolling out the House of Communication model, already active across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the US.
Integrated capabilities across creative, media and technology
House of Communication brings together the expertise of Serviceplan, Mediaplus, Behave and Plan.Net, covering creative and content, media and data, consulting and transformation, and platform and technology. The model gives clients access to a full-service, connected offering designed for complex marketing requirements and supported by the buying power, tools and partnerships of a sizeable international organisation.
Built around behavioural planning and effectiveness, the approach aims to retain the agility associated with independent agencies while delivering work at scale. The structure is designed to keep clients at the centre of decision-making and to ensure teams can respond quickly to business challenges.
Tom Laranjo, CEO, Serviceplan Group UK: "Impactful creativity happens when diverse talents and disciplines come together. Our approach is a fresh take on the agency model, overcoming common barriers around siloed working leading to fragmented messaging and slower execution. This unified strategy delivers direct benefits to our clients, driving innovation and simplifying access to the best talent, helping secure a competitive edge in an increasingly complicated media landscape to navigate."
Partner-led model strengthens UK expansion
Serviceplan’s partner-managed structure allows entrepreneurial leaders to act on local knowledge without lengthy approval processes, diverging from the consolidation trend common among holding companies. This model has supported the Group’s position as the leading Independent Network in the WARC Creative 100 and Media 100.
The UK launch follows the acquisition and rebrand of Mediaplus UK and the introduction of Plan.Net UK earlier this year. With more than thirty specialists now in place, the Group is focused on strengthening its creative capability in the market.
Markus Noder, international CEO, Serviceplan Group: "Expanding the House of Communication model to the UK is a natural step in our growth strategy, building on its proven success in other markets. While many others are scaling back, we are actively growing our services to continue to enhance our offering to clients by bringing all experts together under one roof to encourage real cross-pollination, deeper collaboration, and fresh exchange of ideas."
