Coca-Cola blends Chinese music with FIFA campaign
Liu Yuning and J. Balvin feature in FIFA anthem
Coca-Cola has released JUMP, its official anthem for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, developed in partnership with Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME). The campaign includes both a global version and a Chinese-language adaptation featuring Coca-Cola ambassador Liu Yuning and artist J. Balvin.
The anthem debuted across streaming platforms including QQ Music, Kugou Music, Kuwo Music, Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music as part of Coca-Cola’s promotional activity leading into the tournament.
Chinese-language version marks World Cup return
According to Coca-Cola, JUMP is the company’s first Chinese-language FIFA World Cup anthem in 12 years. The track reinterprets the Van Halen song of the same name through a combination of rock production and traditional Chinese instrumentation.
The production team includes guitarist Steve Vai and drummer Travis Barker. Instruments such as the pipa, guzheng, Tang drum and erhu are layered alongside electric guitars and percussion to create a cross-cultural musical arrangement.
The Chinese adaptation also features a rap performance from Liu Yuning, designed to bring contemporary Chinese musical influences into the FIFA World Cup campaign.
Campaign focuses on music and cultural exchange
Coca-Cola said the anthem is intended to support themes of global connection and cultural exchange associated with the FIFA World Cup. The campaign positions music as a way to bring audiences together while highlighting Chinese musical traditions within an international sporting platform.
The company described the project as part of its wider effort to create fan engagement around the tournament through entertainment and shared cultural experiences.
FIFA campaign expands across streaming platforms
JUMP has been released globally across both Chinese and international streaming services to reach audiences in multiple markets ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The anthem forms part of Coca-Cola’s longstanding partnership with FIFA, where music and artist collaborations have regularly featured in global marketing campaigns tied to the tournament.
