ahm appoints TBWA Australia as creative agency partner
Health insurer ahm has appointed TBWA Australia as its creative agency partner following a competitive pitch. The appointment tasks TBWA with delivering integrated creative, digital, and social communications that build on ahm’s challenger positioning in the insurance market.
The review sought an agency capable of combining world-class creative ideas with commercial value and cross-channel integration. TBWA was selected for its data-informed strategic approach, integrated offering across creative, social, and PR, and its ability to bring a Gen Z perspective aligned with ahm’s target audience.
TBWA to drive next stage of brand growth
Samantha McLeod, head of marketing, ahm: “We’re thrilled to welcome TBWA on board. They bring bold thinking, strategic depth and a challenger mindset that aligns perfectly with our ambitions. This appointment signals exciting things to come in ahm’s brand and communications strategy. TBWA will help shape the next chapter with creativity, strategic thinking and a challenger spirit. I’d also like to acknowledge Droga5 for their partnership, creativity, and dedication over the past five years.”
McLeod joined ahm earlier this year after senior marketing roles at McDonald’s and Coles.
A creative partnership built on ambition
Kiefer Casamore, executive general manager, TBWA Melbourne and Eleven: “Few brands in Australia have such a distinctive tone and attitude as ahm – particularly within the insurance category. The ahm team’s ambition to drive growth through creative excellence makes this partnership a dream brief. We can’t wait to get started.”
The appointment marks a new stage for ahm as it continues to invest in brand-building and integrated communications designed to engage audiences across digital and social platforms.
