The Uptown Agency secures USABS comms brief
The partnership covers local, regional, national and international media outreach, athlete and sponsor storytelling, social content and reputation management throughout the quadrennial.
USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS), the national governing body for bobsled and skeleton in the United States, has appointed The Uptown Agency as its agency of record, with the agency taking responsibility for strategic communications, media relations, brand storytelling and digital strategy.
The work includes planning around the 2029 World Championships in Park City, Utah, and the 2030 Winter Games in France.
Uptown leads USABS communications and media strategy
The Uptown Agency will work across the organization and its athletes, with a focus on maintaining visibility between major competitions as well as during the Games.
Joseph Alexander, CEO, The Uptown Agency: "Bobsled and skeleton athletes train for four years for a run that lasts under a minute," said Joseph Alexander, CEO of The Uptown Agency. "Our job is to make sure the country knows their names long before they reach the start line. We are honored that USABS has trusted us with that, and we are building a program that keeps these athletes and this organization visible between Games, not just during them."
The partnership is already underway as USABS begins its 2026 sliding season. The 2026 USA Push Championships are scheduled for October 5–10 in Lake Placid, New York. The opening competition of the 2026–27 season, the event gives athletes an opportunity to demonstrate their speed and power after the offseason, with hundredths of a second potentially separating competitors.

Agency prepares athlete storytelling ahead of 2030 Games
The Uptown Agency is also supporting USABS social content featuring athletes including Olympic bronze medalist Jasmine Jones, as well as a partnership with Polar Seltzer.
The agency's work with USABS follows its involvement in the organization's 50 States Strong campaign at the beginning of the 2026 Winter Olympics. The campaign included a video voiced by Josh Lucas and a track created by SHINDIG Music.
The Uptown Agency's sports communications portfolio includes work across the NBA, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer and NASCAR.
The agency is also working with USABS on athlete-focused storytelling, including creative featuring team member and hometown hero Sam Allred of Plano.
