VML Portugal launches VML Health

VML Portugal has introduced VML Health, appointing pharma communications specialist Mariana Marta dos Santos as Managing Director. She takes on the role with extensive experience in health marketing and leadership across global pharmaceutical brands.

With qualifications as a pharmacist and more than 15 years in international brand and marketing roles, Mariana Marta dos Santos has worked across therapeutic areas including oncology, respiratory, and cardiovascular/metabolic diseases. Her career includes over seven years as Global Respiratory Manager for Astra Zeneca and positions with Viatris, Almirall, and Esteve. She has overseen global product launches, repositioning programmes, and omnichannel strategies.
