Jaime Teevan proposed for Publicis Board
The proposal follows a recommendation from the Board’s Nominating Committee and would appoint Jaime Teevan for a four-year term.
Publicis Groupe plans to propose the appointment of AI researcher Jaime Teevan as an independent director at its Combined General Shareholders’ Meeting . The move would add further expertise in artificial intelligence and digital transformation to the company’s Board of Directors.
The proposal follows a recommendation from the Board’s Nominating Committee and would appoint Jaime Teevan for a four-year term. Publicis Groupe stated that the appointment aligns with its focus on maintaining an independent and diverse governance structure with experience in emerging technologies.
Board strengthens technology expertise
The company said the Nominating Committee began a search process at the end of 2024 to identify candidates with expertise in technology and innovation. The initiative reflects the growing importance of AI and digital transformation across global business operations.
Jaime Teevan currently serves as chief scientist and technical fellow at Microsoft, where her work focuses on artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. Her research has examined how digital technologies influence productivity, creativity and access to information.
Shareholders to vote on appointment
Publicis Groupe said shareholders will vote on a dedicated resolution regarding the proposed appointment during the General Shareholders’ Meeting on May 27, 2026.
Jaime Teevan holds a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has published research in AI, information retrieval and the future of work.
