SNICKERS turns hunger indecision into humour

SNICKERS has introduced a creative campaign titled “Stuck” to promote SNICKERS Peanut Butter and SNICKERS Peanut Butter Ice Cream, highlighting the brand’s focus on hunger-driven indecision and multisensory snacking experiences.

The campaign uses humour to depict moments where hunger disrupts decision-making, showing how the products resolve indecisiveness through a combination of creamy peanut butter and crunchy peanuts.

Focus on texture-led snacking experience

The campaign is built around consumer insights showing that 71 percent of consumers globally identify textural interest as an important part of their eating experience. SNICKERS Peanut Butter is positioned to respond to this preference by combining smooth and crunchy textures in a single format.

Mars, Incorporated presents the product as a response to common snacking choices where consumers are often required to choose between contrasting textures, rather than experiencing both at once.

Creative execution centres on humour and decision-making

The hero film “Stuck” features two climbers facing a situation where hunger leads to hesitation over a simple decision to seek help. The narrative shows how SNICKERS Peanut Butter resolves their indecision, reinforcing the product’s positioning around satisfaction and clarity of choice.

Additional visual executions titled “Creamy and Crunchy” further highlight product attributes, focusing on sensory appeal and format variation across the range.

Cross-platform media rollout

The campaign is being distributed across television and digital platforms, including YouTube, Meta, Snapchat and TikTok, targeting audiences across multiple viewing environments.

Creative development was led by BBDO New York, which has worked with the brand on its broader communication strategy focused on humour-driven storytelling and product integration.

Extending brand engagement

The campaign forms part of SNICKERS’ ongoing approach to reinforcing its core proposition around hunger satisfaction, using familiar scenarios and humour to maintain consistency across product categories.

The work spans both standard chocolate bars and ice cream formats, extending the brand’s presence into adjacent snacking occasions.
