PolyAI taps Ramsay to highlight voice AI

PolyAI, the conversational AI company, has appointed world-renowned chef and entrepreneur Gordon Ramsay as the face of a global brand campaign as the company expands in the United States and strengthens its enterprise presence.

The campaign positions PolyAI’s voice agents as an alternative to legacy, menu-driven customer service systems. PolyAI provides conversational AI solutions for more than 100 enterprises across sectors including hospitality, financial services, retail, healthcare, energy and insurance. Clients include Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, Marriott, Caesars Entertainment, PG&E, UniCredit and Foot Locker.

Campaign contrasts legacy systems with AI agents

The campaign film features Gordon Ramsay attempting to make a restaurant booking through a traditional automated phone system, encountering delays and confusion. The scenario then shifts to a PolyAI-powered voice agent that responds conversationally and completes the task.

Gordon Ramsay in the campaign: "Finally, someone who f*cking listens."

Nikola Mrkšić, CEO and Co-Founder, PolyAI: "Gordon embodies the standards we hold ourselves to at PolyAI: precision, performance, and zero tolerance for things that don’t work. He’s not just the face of this campaign, but a businessperson who believes in what we’re building. As enterprises increasingly compete on customer experience, our goal is to make every conversation feel effortless, human, and genuinely helpful."

Scaling enterprise conversational AI

PolyAI reports more than 2,000 live deployments across over 25 countries and supports more than 45 languages. According to the company, its AI agents now perform work equivalent to more than 1,000 full-time employees at multiple enterprises. A Total Economic Impact study by Forrester found that PolyAI customers achieved a 391 percent return on investment.

The company has raised more than 200 million dollars in funding from investors including NVentures, Georgian, Hedosophia and Khosla Ventures. PolyAI states it will continue investing in its Agent Studio platform and North American expansion.

The campaign launches globally across video, digital, social and out-of-home channels.
