Hilltop Honey selects St Luke's as lead creative agency

Hilltop Honey - the UK’s second-largest honey brand – has announced the appointment of St Luke’s as its lead creative agency following an internal agency review, managed by new marketing director, Kate Utting. St Luke’s was appointed without a formal pitch process.

St Luke’s will be the creative agency of record for Hilltop Honey and its remit includes all through-the-line communications. The work will span OOH, social including YouTube, as well as all brand communications.

More agencies are tapping into food brands that are specializing on the emerging needs of customers.

Kate Utting joined Hilltop Honey in May this year, as its first ever marketing director and was previously global head of brand and UK marketing controller at Gü. She has been charged with building the marketing team, shaping the wider business and delivering 'category disruptive marketing'.

Kate Utting, marketing director, Hilltop Honey: “We’re in an exciting place as a business, and are an incredibly ambitious challenger brand. Together with St Luke’s we want to be even better, bolder and different to drive reappraisal of honey for both users and non users.”

Ed Palmer, managing director, St Luke’s: "Hilltop is a classic challenger brand opportunity: a quality product, poised to disrupt a stagnant category, an inspiring founder story, and a team full of energy and ambition. This is nectar to us."
