FIJI Water rebrands luxury as everyday moments
FIJI Water has introduced a new integrated campaign, Earth’s Finest Water, positioning the brand as part of everyday lifestyle and cultural moments.
The campaign marks a shift in how the brand connects with consumers, focusing on informal, shared experiences rather than traditional luxury cues, with a particular emphasis on younger audiences.
Creative approach rooted in everyday moments
The campaign features four video spots titled Afterparty, Thrift Store, Girls Weekend, and Vegas Road Trip. Shot on Super 16 mm film, the work was directed by Gary Freedman in collaboration with Linus Sandgren, aiming to capture a natural and spontaneous tone.
Clarence Chia, senior vice president of marketing, FIJI Water: "FIJI Water has always stood at the intersection of style and culture, but what defines those moments is changing. Today’s most powerful expressions of style and culture aren’t confined to traditional runways – they are found in everyday moments of joy, spontaneity and connection. This campaign exemplifies that, driving relevance with younger consumers, while reaffirming its timeless appeal."
Large-scale out-of-home rollout
The campaign includes an extensive out-of-home presence across major US cities, featuring billboards, digital displays, and large-format installations. Key locations include transit hubs such as the World Trade Center Oculus and Hudson Yards in New York, as well as Brightline Station in Miami.
Additional placements span Times Square, the Las Vegas Strip, and downtown Los Angeles, alongside a hand-painted mural in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, extending the campaign’s visual identity into urban environments.
Experiential activations and cultural partnerships
FIJI Water is also activating the campaign through a series of summer experiences, beginning with a Memorial Day weekend takeover in Las Vegas. The programme includes events at LIV Beach Club at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, featuring DJ John Summit, alongside branded experiences across partner venues.
Michael Perdigao, president, Wonderful Agency: "This campaign marks our largest investment in the brand’s storied history, and is grounded in a deep understanding of how younger generations engage with culture today. The insights were clear – this audience is drawn to authenticity, creativity, and experiences where they can unapologetically be themselves. We built a campaign that meets them there, using playful, expressive storytelling to show up in ways that feel natural, shareable, and genuinely fun."
Ongoing cultural presence and digital strategy
The campaign will extend across influencer partnerships, music, sports, and major cultural events, including fashion weeks, film festivals, and awards shows. Social and digital content will also highlight product attributes such as mineral composition and source.
Alongside the campaign, FIJI Water continues to emphasise its sustainability and community initiatives, including investments through the FIJI Water Foundation and the use of recycled plastic across much of its bottle range.
