BBH Singapore campaign reframes hotel loyalty for Marriott

BBH Singapore has launched an advertising campaign for Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s global loyalty programme, built around the idea that loyalty does not need to be complicated. The work aims to challenge common assumptions that hotel loyalty schemes are only designed for frequent travellers or business elites.

The campaign, titled Loyalty’s Just That Easy, positions Marriott Bonvoy as a programme that allows members to earn and redeem points with minimal effort. It highlights how points can be accumulated not only through hotel stays, but also through spending on food, beverages and spa experiences across more than 30 hotel brands at different price points.

Making loyalty accessible to everyday travelers

At the centre of the campaign is a hero film created by BBH Singapore, which follows an everyday traveller discovering Marriott Bonvoy for the first time. The narrative focuses on moments of relaxation throughout his journey, showing how these experiences translate into points without deliberate effort.

The film was directed by Rhys Thomas and produced by Stink London. It captures the traveller’s growing realisation that loyalty rewards can be earned through routine travel experiences, reinforcing the campaign’s message that participation in the programme comes naturally.

Regional executions across Asia Pacific

The campaign launches with three versions of the hero film, each featuring a different protagonist from India, Japan and Korea. These are supported by 30-second and 15-second edits that further underline the simplicity of earning points through Marriott Bonvoy.

Khairul Mondzi, executive creative director, BBH Singapore: "Most hotel loyalty programmes make you feel like you need a spreadsheet just to know where you stand, not to mention the effort it takes just to earn the points. We started with a simple question. What if loyalty didn’t feel like effort at all? That idea became the foundation of this campaign, built around the moment you realise you don’t have to try. It just works."

Integrated rollout across channels

The films will run across the Asia Pacific region, including India, Japan, Korea and Indonesia. The rollout forms part of an integrated campaign spanning out of home, digital and social channels, with additional activations planned through the first half of 2026.

Xue Ying Mei, vice president marketing, Marriott International Asia Pacific excluding China: "We know loyalty programmes can feel complicated and real-world usage might seem like hard work. This campaign aims to correct these perceptions, showing how loyalty with Marriott Bonvoy is effortless. The variety of our hotel brand options means there’s something for everyone, and members can transform moments of relaxation, both big and small, into points."
