Context Networks selects Broadsign for OOH expansion
The collaboration connects eligible inventory to the Broadsign Platform and Place Exchange supply-side platform, giving Context Networks infrastructure for content management, advertising delivery and programmatic monetization.
Context Networks is working with Broadsign to expand its Contextual Promotions Media Network across gaming and other operator-controlled digital display environments.
The collaboration will initially focus on gaming environments ahead of Global Gaming Expo (G2E), taking place September 28 through October 1 at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. Context Networks plans to use the same infrastructure as it expands into other controlled screen environments.
Broadsign supports Context Networks inventory expansion
Through the collaboration, Context Networks is connecting eligible CPMN inventory to the Broadsign Platform, Broadsign's Ad Server and Content Management System. The setup will allow Context Networks to manage business-critical content and advertising across its display network while accessing Place Exchange, Broadsign's programmatic digital out-of-home supply-side platform.
Context Networks provides contextual intelligence, specialized integrations, and relationships with operators and resellers. Broadsign brings network management, campaign automation, reporting and programmatic demand connectivity. Together, the companies aim to support screen-based media in environments beyond traditional out-of-home networks.
Gaming provides initial focus for digital screens
Gaming is the immediate focus for Context Networks, although the collaboration is intended to support a broader display network strategy. Its business model covers casino floors as well as distributed gaming, ATMs, kiosks, gift-card kiosk networks, digital faucets, hotel concierge apps and other connected screens.
Context Networks currently operates across 14 states and 23 designated market areas, with advertising and operator-owned content running in distributed gaming environments. The Broadsign Platform is intended to help the company onboard additional screen networks and reseller partners while maintaining consistent campaign management, delivery and reporting.
Operator control remains central to the model
Matthew Olden, Founder, COO & Executive Chair of Context Networks: "Broadsign gives us a proven infrastructure to scale our model without losing what makes it valuable: contextual relevance, operator control and measurable monetization," said Matthew Olden, Founder, COO & Executive Chair of Context Networks. "Gaming is an important launch market for this work, but the underlying opportunity is broader. Across network digital display environments, operators already control valuable screens and audience relationships. Our job is to help turn those assets into new commercial value while giving advertisers a better way to reach qualified audiences in the moments and environments that matter."
For operators and media owners, the combined model is designed to create a route to advertising revenue from existing digital displays without requiring them to build separate advertising technology infrastructure. Operators retain control over eligible inventory, campaign rules, house content and the customer experience, while CPMN™ adds a commercial layer around screens and systems they already own or manage.
Programmatic access expands advertising opportunities
Brands and agencies can access inventory in high-attention environments that may not be included in conventional media plans. Contextual signals can align advertising with factors such as place, activity, timing and audience value, while the Broadsign Platform provides access through established OOH and programmatic workflows.
Robert Loftus, VP of Platform Sales at Broadsign: "Context Networks is opening a compelling category of inventory that fits naturally with the continued evolution of out-of-home," said Robert Loftus, VP of Platform Sales at Broadsign. "By connecting Context Networks' operator relationships and specialized integrations with the Broadsign Platform and Place Exchange SSP, we can help make these screens easier for buyers to access while giving operators the control, transparency and flexibility they need to participate with confidence."
Gaming networks require controlled advertising delivery
Operator control is particularly relevant in gaming environments, where security, regulatory oversight and operational continuity are important considerations. Instead of introducing a separate advertising stack, the Context Networks model uses established digital signage and programmatic infrastructure while allowing operators to determine what appears on participating screens.
Existing promotions and operational content can continue to run alongside paid advertising according to rules established by each operator. During G2E, Context Networks plans to demonstrate how the combined technology stack can connect gaming and other operator-controlled screens to the broader advertising ecosystem.
The company will also meet with operators, integrators, resellers, advertisers and agencies during the event to discuss opportunities to activate additional screen inventory.
