Azerion unifies its publisher platform
The offering combines supply-side infrastructure, yield optimization and other publishing services under one commercial relationship and technology stack.
Azerion is bringing its supply-side technology and publisher monetization services together under the Improve Digital brand, creating a unified platform for publishers.
The unified proposition is available through two products: Improve Digital SSP, for publishers managing their own advertising stack, and Improve Digital Yield, for publishers that want a dedicated team to manage monetization. The platform connects inventory with more than 50 demand-side platforms and 50 supply-side platforms across web, app, CTV, audio, digital out-of-home and in-game environments.
Azerion consolidates publisher technology
Jurriaan van Teunenbroek, Chief Publishing Officer, Azerion: “With the launch of the unified publisher proposition we send a clear signal to the market, Azerion is the place to be as a publisher. With all solutions under one umbrella, including SSP, yield optimization and other publishing services like multi cloud, we offer a unique and competitive proposition designed to make the lives of publishers better and more profitable.”
Improve Digital SSP is designed for publishers with in-house ad operations teams using technologies such as Prebid, oRTB or proprietary wrappers. The product provides self-service access to supply and demand, curated Marketplace data and Azerion’s direct demand, with access also available through open APIs.
Improve Digital offers managed yield optimization
Improve Digital Yield is aimed at publishers without dedicated ad operations teams. It combines a header bidding wrapper, mobile SDKs and a video player with an AI-based optimization engine and account management.
Damian Hartmann, Product Director, Improve Digital Yield: “Digital publishers and app developers are under more pressure than ever to grow revenue without growing their ad ops burden. That’s exactly the problem we built Improve Digital Yield to solve. Whether a publisher wants a fully managed team optimizing every auction on their behalf, or wants granular, bid-level control over their own stack, they’re running on the same infrastructure, the same demand relationships, and the same AI-powered price floor optimization. Add in support across display, video, and high-impact formats, a proprietary video player and content solution, plus SDKs for in-app monetization, and publishers get one platform instead of a patchwork of vendors. That’s the difference between chasing incremental gains and building a real, durable revenue strategy.”
The Yield offering is positioned as a managed alternative for publishers that want to outsource their monetization operations while retaining access to the same underlying infrastructure and demand relationships.
Unified brand covers publisher supply solutions
Harry Francis, Product Director, Improve Digital SSP: “Publishers have never had a shortage of options, they’ve had a shortage of clarity. Working out what a partner actually offers, and how it fits the stack you already run, is harder than it should be. Improve Digital is now the single name from Azerion covering all our supply-side solutions, so publishers get one commercial relationship, a set of products they can integrate wherever they need them, and one consolidated path for buyers to find their inventory. Managed and self-service monetisation, plus our curation platform, give them scale and reach across web, app, CTV, audio and DOOH.”
The unified platform is built around a 360-degree model that brings demand sources, formats and data signals together within a single advertising infrastructure. Publishers can choose between self-service supply through Improve Digital SSP and managed monetization through Improve Digital Yield.
Azerion combines demand, data and infrastructure
Azerion says its ownership of the advertising value chain allows Improve Digital to combine demand, data and infrastructure within the same platform. The company positions this structure as a way to provide publishers with direct deal access and demand while reducing the number of intermediaries involved in monetization.
The proposition spans multiple formats and channels, including display, video, CTV, audio, DOOH and in-game advertising, giving publishers access to a single platform as they expand their monetization operations.
