W+K names creative leaders for Amsterdam office
Sevilla joins from W+K London and Treacy from W+K New York, where both most recently served as creative directors
Wieden+Kennedy has appointed Juan Sevilla and Paddy Treacy as chief creative officers of its Amsterdam office. They will take up the roles this summer, succeeding Susan Hoffman, who is returning to a position within the agency's global leadership team after leading the Amsterdam creative department for the past two years.

Amsterdam office enters next phase
Karl Lieberman, global chief creative officer, Wieden+Kennedy: "Between Juan and Paddy, they've spent more than 25 years at Wieden+Kennedy, worked across Ireland, Spain, England, the United States and the Netherlands and touched pretty much every kind of business you can think of in the process. They've helped create and creative direct work for some of the most iconic brands in the world. But for us, it's not just where Juan & Paddy have been or what they've made. It's how they've worked. Wherever they've gone, they've cared deeply, and sometimes even unreasonably, about the work and the people who make it. They give space and autonomy wherever they can and they get in there, roll up their sleeves, and help wherever it's needed."
The Amsterdam office serves as Wieden+Kennedy's European hub and continues to lead international work for brands including Nike, Trainline, Miele and Corona. It also partnered with Our LEGO Agency on the Everyone Wants a Piece FIFA World Cup campaign featuring Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Vini Jr.
Leadership team takes shape
Sevilla and Treacy will work alongside Amsterdam president Luiza Prata Carvalho and chief strategy officer Nick Docherty as the agency continues to develop creative work for global brands.
Juan Sevilla: "W+K Amsterdam was the second office in the network to open anywhere in the world, and it has always been one of the most creative. Leading this office alongside Luiza, Nick and Paddy is a beautiful challenge, and one we take on with great humility. Our goal is simple: to do the best work we possibly can, protect the very special culture and people that makes this place what it is, and have fun along the way."
Creative experience across global markets
Sevilla has worked in Madrid, London and Amsterdam during a 26-year career, developing campaigns for brands including Cornetto, Mattel, Coca-Cola, Sainsbury's, Honda, PlayStation, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Heinz and Corona. His work has received recognition at international industry awards including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, El Sol and FIAP.
Treacy began his career with Wieden+Kennedy in London before moving to W+K New York, where he has led global campaigns for McDonald's. His portfolio also includes work for Nike, TK Maxx and Bud Light, including Nothing Beats a Londoner and Nike HOME.
Treacy reflects on Amsterdam role
Paddy Treacy: "When I was a kid, Eric Cantona was my hero. Number one. And it wasn't close. I'd flick my collar up, shout "Au Revoir!" and kick the ball straight at the kid next to me in the schoolyard. So, yeah. This place was getting me into trouble long before I had any idea what an ad was. And that's just it. W+K Amsterdam is one of the all-time greats. The history. The people. The weirdness. The influence it consistently has on culture. There's something special about this place and I cannot wait to be a part of its next chapter. And cause a lot more trouble."
