VCCP wins global Just Eat Takeaway.com brief
Just Eat Takeaway.com has appointed VCCP as its global creative agency of record following a competitive four-way pitch. The Amsterdam-headquartered delivery platform replaces incumbent McCann as it prepares the next phase of its brand development.
The first campaign under VCCP is scheduled to launch towards the end of 2026.
Global brief shifts after competitive review
Founded in 2000 and based in Amsterdam, Just Eat Takeaway.com connects consumers with 362,000 restaurant and retail partners worldwide through its platforms. The company has expanded into a major online food delivery marketplace with operations across multiple markets.
VCCP, which describes itself as a challenger network, secured the account based on its approach to audience insight and brand development. Its integrated structure combines creative, media, production and AI capabilities within a single model.
Focus on brand platform continuity
Ralph Rijks, Chief Marketing Officer, Just Eat Takeaway.com: "We were impressed by VCCP’s strategic clarity and the boldness of their creative vision. Crucially, they’ve demonstrated a deep, shared understanding of our category and why our customers use our service. The success of our highly effective ‘Did Somebody Say’ brand platform will remain central to our future. As we enter this exciting next phase of growth at Just Eat Takeaway.com, VCCP felt like a natural extension of our team – the clear partner to collaboratively define the next chapter of our brand’s platform and story."
Steph Brimacombe, EMEA CEO, VCCP: "We are thrilled to be partnering with Just Eat Takeaway.com at such a pivotal moment in their journey. Our integrated model is designed to thrive on the scale and complexity of a household global brand like this, bringing together creativity, data, and AI to deliver real business impact. We can’t wait to get started to help drive the next chapter of their global growth."
The appointment positions VCCP to lead global brand strategy and creative development for Just Eat Takeaway.com as the platform builds on its existing Did Somebody Say brand platform.
