Subaru spotlights charity partners in Share the Love campaign
Subaru of America has launched the 2025 edition of its Share the Love Event with two ads highlighting the national and local charities supported by the initiative. The automaker aims to raise more than 30 million dollars this season, pushing its cumulative contributions beyond 350 million dollars by the campaign’s close.
Throughout this year’s programme, Subaru and its retailers will continue supporting four national charity partners: the ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels and the National Park Foundation. In addition, 837 hometown charities selected by retailers will benefit from donations.
Campaign ads focus on generosity and local impact
The commercial Prom follows a Make-A-Wish child who chooses a Wish to Give, one of the charity’s five wish categories. Love Comes Home showcases daily efforts by Subaru retailers to assist charities in their communities.
Alan Bethke, senior vice president of marketing, Subaru of America: “The act of giving back is woven into Subaru’s DNA and the daily mission of our incredible charity partners. The Subaru Share the Love Event empowers our owners and retailers to drive lasting change while sharing the season’s greatest gifts: compassion and care.”
Both ads will run in various lengths across television, streaming services, digital video and social platforms. Prom will also appear in a 60-second version in select placements, and Spanish-language creative for Love Comes Home will run across multiple Hispanic networks.
Donations tied to vehicle sales and service visits
From November through to January 2026, Subaru will contribute 250 dollars for every new vehicle purchased or leased at participating retailers to the customer’s chosen charity. Retailers may nominate up to two hometown charities to receive an additional minimum contribution of 50 dollars for each vehicle sold or leased. Many retailers will also donate 5 dollars per qualifying routine service visit during the campaign.
Over seventeen years, Subaru and participating retailers have contributed nearly 320 million dollars to more than 2,700 hometown charities through the Share the Love Event.
