ONE Asia announces 2026 Creative Awards jury

The jury includes agency leaders, brand marketers, filmmakers and creative specialists

The One Club for Creativity has announced the jury for the 2026 ONE Asia Creative Awards, bringing together senior creatives, marketers and directors from 12 countries and regions across the Asia-Pacific.

The jury includes agency leaders, brand marketers, filmmakers and creative specialists, reflecting a broad mix of disciplines and perspectives from across the region. The organisation is also continuing its Cross-Culture Jury Initiative, which invites judges from outside APAC to participate in the regional judging process.

Jury spans agencies, brands and production

The 2026 jury features representatives from Australia, Greater China, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand. Members hold leadership roles at agencies including AKQA, Havas Host, Leo, Ogilvy, TBWA, VML, BBDO and Finch, alongside executives from brands such as Canva, Visa, Maya, Boost Holdings, Samyang Foods and Google.

As part of the Cross-Culture Jury Initiative, Simon Au of The Kitchen North America/Kraft Heinz Toronto, Tara Ford of Droga5 London and Nick Noh of Rethink Toronto will join the jury. The programme is designed to give international judges greater exposure to creative work from APAC before they take part in judging for the following year's global One Show.

Kuala Lumpur to host judging

The 2026 ONE Asia Creative Awards will be judged in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from October 17–19 at The Majestic. DirectorsThinkTank will serve as the exclusive judging sponsor, while a student masterclass with Level Up is scheduled for October 20.

Entries are now open, with the regular entry deadline set for July 17, followed by an extended deadline of August 28 and a final deadline of September 18. Finalists will be announced in the fall, with winners revealed in November 2026.

Awards expand with new disciplines

The awards programme introduces three additional disciplines this year: Creator Content, Luxury, Fashion and Lifestyle, and Production & Craft. The Creative Use of Artificial Intelligence category has also been expanded to reflect the growing role of AI in creative work.

The 2026 call-for-entries campaign, titled Where Taste Matters, was created by Muma Malaysia. The campaign explores the role of human judgement and creative instinct in distinguishing memorable work from the increasing volume of AI-generated content.

Tay Guan Hin, APAC Regional Director, The One Club for Creativity: "This year's jury brings together senior leaders behind some of the region's most recognized work, brand marketers who know the impact of every decision, and a new generation with fresh perspectives. They all come from a range of agencies, brands, countries, and cultures, and all are held to the same high standard of Taste."
