Hotels.com campaign reinforces trust, rewards and simplicity
Hotels.com has introduced a new brand platform, It’s All in the Name, alongside a refreshed visual identity, reinforcing its promise to offer clear, transparent hotel booking with simple rewards. The updates include a modernized “H” logo, new colors, fonts, and updated brand elements designed for both digital and real-world touchpoints.
The creative campaign uses humor to highlight clarity in contrast to everyday misnomers. In 30-second spots titled Chicken Fingers and Headphones, the brand points out that while some things aren’t what they sound like, Hotels.com is exactly what it promises. The spots were developed by Mischief, directed by Andreas Nilsson, with production by Biscuit and CGI/VFX by Untold Studios.
Natalie Wills, SVP of Marketing & Creative, Expedia Group: "Hotels.com is built on a simple promise: make travel easier, every time. Our refreshed identity, complete with the return of the iconic H logo, puts that promise front and center. With ‘It’s All in the Name,’ we’re reminding travelers exactly what we deliver: rewards, simplicity, and flexibility they can trust."
Refreshed identity emphasizes clarity and simplicity
The new logo revives the three-layer “H,” symbolizing the customer journey from discovery through booking to rewards. Set in the brand’s signature Bellhop Red, the logo is designed to be visible and recognisable across apps, websites, and physical media. The visual overhaul also includes an expanded color palette, updated typography, new pictograms, and the playful Bellboy character, enhancing Hotels.com’s approachable yet functional brand expression.
The campaign and visual updates roll out immediately across Hotels.com’s platforms, signalling a strategic push to reinforce trust, clarity, and simplicity in hotel booking experiences.
