Ford Pro turns van traffic into brand fame
Titled Another Ford Transit, the campaign highlights the tradespeople, business owners and workers who rely on the van to start their working days.
Ford Pro and Born Social have launched a campaign celebrating the workers and businesses that keep the UK moving, using footage of 320 Ford Transit vans passing a single stretch of road in just 60 minutes at 5am to demonstrate the vehicle's presence on British roads.
Rather than using claims about the model's popularity, the campaign uses real-world footage to show how frequently it appears on UK roads.
Ford Transit campaign highlights everyday visibility
Almost one in five vans sold in the UK is a Ford Transit. To bring this market presence to life, Born Social filmed a single stretch of road for an hour from 5am, capturing hundreds of Transit vans passing the camera.
The resulting footage forms the campaign's main film, turning a familiar sight on British roads into a tribute to the people behind the wheel. The approach shifts attention from the vehicle itself to the workers and businesses that depend on it.
Born Social builds on Ford's brand platform
The campaign builds on Ford's wider Mornings Made Possible by Doers platform, which focuses on the people who get the working day underway. Another Ford Transit extends this positioning by recognising the tradespeople, business owners and service providers already on the road while much of the country is still waking up.
The campaign will run across organic and paid social media, supported by shorter video edits. Paid content will direct audiences to book a test drive, connecting the brand-building activity with a clear commercial objective.
Ford Pro and Born Social explain campaign approach
Peter Watt, Communications Manager, Ford Pro: "We see Transits everywhere, but it's easy to forget what each one represents: someone starting their day, running a business, delivering a service or getting a job done. Every Transit on the road is a reminder of the people making the working day possible. Transit has been part of their working lives for generations, and 'Another Ford Transit' gives us a simple way to celebrate that relationship."
Simon Cooper, Executive Creative Director, Born Social: "Most brands would spend a fortune to be this visible in everyday life. The interesting challenge with Transit wasn't how to get people to notice it, but how to make that familiarity mean something to see it so frequently. By simply counting what was already there, we could turn Transit's ubiquity into recognition for the people behind the wheel."
Ford Transit campaign celebrates working communities
Another Ford Transit forms part of a broader creative platform focused on the people who use the van and the role they play in keeping communities and businesses moving across Europe. By grounding the campaign in everyday road activity, Ford Pro and Born Social aim to connect the vehicle's widespread presence with the people and work behind it.
