Enedis, Rosa Paris and Havas spotlight bird protection

Through Life Corridors, Enedis brings together data analysts, electrical engineers, geomatics specialists and corporate social responsibility teams to identify high-risk areas and improve their safety for birds.

Enedis has launched Life Corridors, a 17-minute documentary highlighting efforts to protect migratory birds from power lines across France. Developed with agencies Rosa Paris and Havas Media France, the initiative combines wildlife conservation storytelling with an integrated media campaign designed to raise awareness of biodiversity protection and reach nearly 85 million audience contacts.

The French electricity distribution company has worked to reduce the risks power lines pose to birds for more than 30 years. The initiative focuses on vulnerable species, including white storks, which can collide with electrical infrastructure during migration.

Enedis combines expertise to protect migratory birds

The company has installed more than 30,000 bird protection devices and moved some power lines underground in particularly sensitive locations. The work builds on partnerships with the French Birds Protection League (LPO), the French National Museum of Natural History and wildlife conservation organisations, including ACROLA.

Documentary explores humanity’s relationship with wildlife

Produced by Phantasm and directed by Vanessa Joo Dumont and Nicolas Davenel, known as NDVD, Life Corridors combines footage from conservation work in the field with a contemplative visual approach. The film explores human responsibility towards the animal world through the perspectives of its multidisciplinary filmmaking team.

Rather than focusing solely on technical interventions, the documentary presents the people and collaborative work behind Enedis’ efforts to protect biodiversity. It aims to bring the challenges of wildlife conservation to a broader audience.

Havas and media partners support the launch

Enedis is working with Havas Media France, Havas Play and FranceTV Publicité on an integrated campaign spanning media placements, branded content and influencer partnerships. The activity is designed to build awareness of the documentary and extend its reach across different audiences.

Life Corridors is scheduled to receive prominent exposure on Prime Video and France.tv, with availability across devices and editorial placement within the environmental documentary selection. The campaign also includes a digital activation on france.tv and more than 40 trailer broadcasts on France 2 and France 5.

Influencers and publishers extend the campaign’s reach

Branded content partnerships with Le Média Positif and Avre will explore biodiversity challenges and the measures implemented by Enedis. The collaborations aim to provide audiences with additional context on wildlife conservation and the role of infrastructure management in protecting ecosystems.

Content creators The Impact Story and Léa Camilleri will also promote the documentary to their respective audiences. Paid digital and social media activity will support the campaign throughout its run, helping maintain visibility beyond the initial launch.

The campaign aims to generate nearly 85 million audience contacts, using documentary storytelling and coordinated media activity to keep biodiversity and wildlife protection in public discussion.
