Dentsu Creative to lead Cauldron Foods social strategy

Dentsu Creative has been appointed social agency of record for Cauldron Foods, a plant-based and vegetarian food brand. The remit covers social strategy, brand creative and organic social, with search and SEO support delivered by dentsu.

The appointment will see Cauldron’s social activity refreshed across the UK, with a focus on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, supported by activity on additional platforms. The brief centres on strengthening brand relevance and visibility through a more consistent and culturally attuned social presence.

Social strategy built around culture and community

Cauldron selected Dentsu Creative for its experience in placing brands within social conversation and culture, alongside its ability to deliver an integrated approach spanning strategy, creative and media. The agency demonstrated strengths in cultural storytelling, community-building and creator collaboration during the pitch process.

The partnership aims to help Cauldron connect with a younger audience of food shoppers, using social-first content to challenge established perceptions of vegetarian food and present the brand as a positive and appealing choice.

Introducing the Mix It Up platform

The agency’s work will be anchored in a new brand platform, Mix It Up, which is designed to reflect Cauldron’s approach to plant-based food and its role in rethinking expectations around vegetarian eating. The platform will guide social content that focuses on experimentation, flavour and personality.

Lucy Grogut, brand lead, Cauldron: “We were impressed by Dentsu Creative’s understanding of how to make brands culturally relevant and their enthusiasm for bringing new energy to Cauldron. We’re excited to see how they translate our brand’s personality into social-first storytelling.”

Agency perspective on FMCG growth

For Dentsu Creative, the appointment adds to its growing focus on FMCG brands within social and cultural spaces.

Lucy Pritchard, managing partner at Dentsu Creative: “We’re building momentum in FMCG social by showing how brands can play a meaningful role in culture. Cauldron has significant potential within the plant-based and vegetarian category, and our focus is on driving growth by making it a positive and tasty choice for consumers.”
