Amazon Ads and iHeart expand programmatic audio partnership
Amazon Ads and iHeartMedia have expanded their long-standing partnership with a new programmatic audio offering that gives advertisers using Amazon DSP access to iHeart’s extensive streaming audio portfolio. The collaboration combines Amazon’s vast ecosystem of shopping, streaming, and browsing insights with iHeart’s millions of listeners, delivering scalable, data-driven reach for advertisers.
The integration allows advertisers using Amazon DSP to extend omnichannel campaigns across iHeart’s diverse audio content, reaching listeners on smartphones, smart speakers, tablets, gaming consoles, and other connected devices. The programmatic access to iHeartMedia’s streaming music and live radio is available immediately, with podcast and broadcast radio inventory set to be added in 2026.
Expanding omnichannel opportunities for advertisers
Meredith Goldman, Director of Amazon DSP, Amazon Ads: “Our partnership with iHeart allows Amazon DSP customers to reach relevant audio audiences with simplified campaign management and unique measurement capabilities. Integrations like this enable advertisers to build more comprehensive omnichannel strategies that connect brands with consumers throughout their journey across media.”
The partnership builds on more than a decade of collaboration between the two companies, including innovations in smart devices, mobile apps, and voice technology. The latest phase extends that collaboration into programmatic audio, bringing iHeart’s large and engaged audience to advertisers through Amazon DSP’s AI-powered ad ecosystem.
Bringing addressability and measurement to broadcast audio
Lisa Coffey, Chief Business Officer, iHeartMedia: “Making iHeart’s premium audio inventory available through Amazon DSP unlocks scale with deep listener engagement and proven performance. And with accessibility to broadcast radio inventory soon to follow, this partnership is another step in making broadcast radio behave like digital media; addressable, measurable, and available programmatically, so marketers of all sizes can buy with greater ease and consistency.”
Strengthening programmatic advertising through audio
Amazon DSP, the company’s omnichannel media platform, enables advertisers to plan, buy, and measure campaigns efficiently across multiple channels. Powered by first-party insights and clean-room technology, it offers addressable reach and creative optimization across connected devices, including streaming TV and now, programmatic audio.
With this integration, Amazon Ads and iHeartMedia aim to redefine audio advertising by merging precision targeting with audience scale—helping brands connect with consumers through meaningful moments wherever they listen.
