Meta debuts intelligent AI tools for advertisers

Meta has launched AI connectors in open beta, allowing advertisers and agencies to create, manage, and analyse campaigns directly within the AI tools they already use, without requiring developer credentials or API integration.

The connectors, powered by Meta’s ads model context protocol server and command line interface, provide a secure, authenticated link to live campaign data. This enables users to access performance insights, manage campaigns, and handle catalog and audience data based on real activity rather than generic outputs.

Meta expands AI tools for campaign management

The AI connectors support a range of advertising tasks across workflows. Users can generate detailed reports to assess performance, create and edit campaigns using natural language, and manage product catalogs, including troubleshooting data feed issues. The system also provides diagnostics on signal quality to help prioritise setup improvements.

Setup is designed to be fast, with access available in minutes and no coding required for the MCP integration. Meta has also published supported platforms and onboarding instructions for both MCP and CLI environments.

Bridging Ads Manager and external AI tools

The launch positions the connectors alongside Meta’s AI business assistant, which operates within Ads Manager to deliver campaign guidance and recommendations. Together, the tools aim to support both in-platform optimisation and external workflow integration.

Meta’s approach reflects a broader strategy to align its advertising infrastructure with how agencies and brands operate across multiple tools and channels. The connectors allow users to combine Meta campaign data with external systems to build customised workflows and cross-channel insights.

Meta focuses on workflow flexibility for advertisers

The company frames the release as part of its ongoing effort to integrate AI capabilities into advertising processes. By enabling direct connections between ad accounts and AI agents, Meta aims to support faster decision-making and greater operational flexibility.

The connectors are available to businesses of varying sizes and regions as part of the open beta rollout, marking a step toward deeper integration between advertising platforms and AI-driven tools.
