Unilever sells Kate Somerville brand to Rare Beauty Brands
Unilever has agreed to sell the Kate Somerville skincare brand to Rare Beauty Brands, marking a new chapter for the Los Angeles-based label known for its results-driven skincare, body care, and clinic on Melrose Place. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
The sale comes as Unilever continues to refine its beauty portfolio and focus on areas of strategic growth within its Prestige division.
