Unilever sells Home Care business in Colombia and Ecuador
Unilever has agreed to sell its Home Care business in Colombia and Ecuador to consumer goods company Alicorp, continuing its strategy to refine its portfolio and concentrate on priority categories.
The transaction covers a portfolio of established local Home Care brands across both markets, including Fab, 3D, Aromatel and Deja. The businesses play a significant role in household cleaning and care in Colombia and Ecuador.
Unilever reshapes Home Care footprint
The divestment reflects Unilever’s focus on simplifying its operations and directing investment towards areas where it sees the strongest potential for leadership, innovation and sustainable growth.
The agreement remains subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
