VML highlights Young Lions talent at Cannes
VML said the participation of its Young Lions competitors reflects the agency’s ongoing focus on creativity, innovation and professional development across its global network
VML used the 73rd Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to spotlight the achievements of 23 young creatives who represented their markets in the Cannes Young Lions Competition.
The competition brings together advertising, marketing, communications and design professionals aged 30 and under, challenging them to develop solutions to real-world briefs from nonprofit organisations under strict deadlines. Participants compete across categories including Print, Media, Digital, Film, PR and Design, with national winners advancing to the global finals at Cannes Lions.
Agency showcases emerging creative talent
VML said the participation of its Young Lions competitors reflects the agency’s ongoing focus on creativity, innovation and professional development across its global network.
The agency’s representatives competed in Film, Print and Digital categories, bringing together talent from offices across Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
Film category attracts largest VML contingent
Among the competitors in the Film category were Catarina Barcala, Associate Creative Director at VML New York; Chloee Desjardins, Copywriter-Proofreader at VML Montreal; Emile Parenteau, Copywriter at VML Montreal; and Franz Tillman Frommann, Art Director at Scholz & Friends Hamburg.
Other Film participants included Jan Cialowicz, Junior Art Director at VML Warsaw; Kasama Kruengkrai, Copywriter at VML Bangkok; Lucia Kwiatkowski, Copywriter at VML Buenos Aires; Marilena Papadakaki, Art Director at VML Athens; Natalia Rodríguez, Art Director at VML Chile; Raffaele Dalla Casa, Art Director at Scholz & Friends Hamburg; Sarun Erbchokchai, Senior Art Director at VML Bangkok; Sebastián Ulloa, Art Director at VML Chile; Tomás Belottini, Art Director at VML Buenos Aires; and Zofia Dzialkowska, Junior Graphic Designer at VML Warsaw.
Competitors represent Print and Digital disciplines
VML’s representatives in the Print category included Anna Napiorkowska, Copywriter at VML Warsaw; Natalia Sabolta, Art Director at VML Warsaw; Nikolaj Leongard, Art Director at VML Copenhagen; Olga Ricart, Junior Art Director at VML Prague; and Oyku Aydin, Copywriter at VML Prague.
In the Digital category, VML was represented by Jessica Babsy, Senior Art Director at VML Johannesburg; Nut Jindakittikul, Senior Art Director at VML Bangkok; Pippa Browning, Copywriter at VML Johannesburg; and Ramita Juthasantikul, Art Director at VML Bangkok.

The Cannes Young Lions Competition is designed to provide emerging professionals with international exposure and an opportunity to test their skills against peers from around the world.
