McCann Philippines names new CEO and COO
McCann Philippines has appointed Mitzie Lim-Nacianceno as Chief Executive Officer and Bambi Reyes as Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 May, marking a leadership transition shaped by long-serving executives within the agency.
The promotions, announced by Raul Castro, place two experienced internal leaders at the helm as the agency continues to build on its position in the Philippine advertising market.
A legacy of brand building and creative work
Established in 1963, McCann Philippines has played a central role in the country’s advertising industry, working with brands such as Coca-Cola, Nestlé and San Miguel across multiple decades.
Raul Castro, Chairman, McCann Philippines: "McCann has always been about the long game-in the work we do for clients and in how we build the agency from within. Mitzie and Bambi didn’t just rise through the ranks, but they have also helped define what those ranks mean. I have full confidence that under their leadership, McCann Philippines will not just sustain what we’ve built, but it will also build something even greater,"
The agency has maintained long-term client relationships and received recognition across regional and international awards, including Cannes Lions and APAC Effies.
Internal leadership takes the lead
Mitzie Lim-Nacianceno has held several leadership roles within the agency, most recently as Managing Partner and Director of Client and Business Leadership. Her work has focused on strengthening long-term client partnerships and advancing integrated campaign strategies.
Mitzie Lim-Nacianceno, CEO, McCann Philippines: "I didn’t just grow up in this agency-this agency shaped how I think about brands, about people, and about what great work actually means. What changes now is the speed and scale at which we can act on it. We have the right clients, the right people, and now the right structure to do the most meaningful work of McCann’s history. That’s not a boast, it’s an obligation,"
Bambi Reyes moves into the COO role after serving as Managing Partner, where she developed operational models aimed at scaling the agency’s business and expanding its regional footprint.
Operational focus and growth strategy
Bambi Reyes, COO, McCann Philippines: "The best operations don’t feel like operations, they feel like momentum. When teams have the clarity and the room to do their best work, the results follow. My job is to make sure nothing stands between our people and that,"
Reyes’ remit includes strengthening operational efficiency while maintaining creative output, as the agency continues to evolve its structure and delivery model.
Future direction anchored in impact
Under the new leadership, McCann Philippines will continue to prioritise brand building while advancing its Truth to Impact framework, which connects creative work with measurable business outcomes.
The agency is also reinforcing a digital-first approach, aiming to deliver connected brand experiences and ongoing content across platforms in response to shifting consumer expectations.
Raul Castro: "The industry is changing faster than it ever has, and that’s exactly why this moment matters. Mitzie and Bambi understand where things are going, not just for McCann, but also for the brands we serve. I am genuinely excited about what the next 10 years look like with them at the helm,"
