JvM NERD enters Roblox game publishing
The agency said the launch reflects growing interest in using gaming to connect physical events with digital audiences
Jung von Matt NERD (JvM NERD) has launched One Last Stand, its first original Roblox title, marking the agency's entry into games publishing. The multiplayer game is designed as a foundation for branded live tournament experiences that can be adapted for events in collaboration with brands and organizers.
Rather than creating a separate Roblox game for each activation, JvM NERD has developed a reusable format that can be customized for trade shows, festivals, pop-up activations and community events. The approach allows participants at physical venues to compete in shared live tournaments that extend the event experience into Roblox.
Format connects physical and digital experiences
The agency said the launch reflects growing interest in using gaming to connect physical events with digital audiences. Instead of treating gaming as a standalone activation, the format integrates it into the wider live event experience.
Thanh Dao, Managing Director, JvM NERD: "With One Last Stand, gaming becomes an integral part of the live event rather than something that simply sits alongside it. Together with our partners, we create tailored tournament experiences that bring people at the venue into the same game. The goal is not just to place a brand inside Roblox, but to make gaming part of a shared real-world experience."
Multiplayer gameplay built for live events
One Last Stand centres on a free-for-all multiplayer arena in which up to 25 players compete in short rounds. Players use customised weapons and abilities to eliminate opponents by knocking them out of the arena until only one participant remains.
Between matches, players return to a shared lobby where they can upgrade equipment, unlock additional items and prepare for the next round. The short-session format is intended to support continuous participation throughout an event while allowing spectators to follow the action.
Adaptable platform for branded activations
According to JvM NERD, each activation can be tailored to match a brand's identity and event objectives, including visual branding, tournament structure and gameplay elements. By using the same core game, brands can develop event-specific experiences without building a Roblox title from the ground up.
The game was developed in collaboration with gaming studio Hubert.Studio and is available globally from today. JvM NERD said it is already developing its first event-specific adaptation with a launch partner.
