Heineken opens India hub to expand global services
Heineken has opened its Business Services India centre in Hyderabad, expanding its global network of hubs as part of its EverGreen 2030 strategy focused on productivity and digital transformation.
The new centre strengthens the company’s presence in Asia and supports its operating markets by centralising key functions, allowing local teams to focus on commercial execution.
Expanding global business services network
The Hyderabad hub joins Heineken’s existing business services centres in Poland, Mexico, and Brazil, forming part of a broader effort to build a connected, multifunctional global network.
Harold van den Broek, chief financial officer, Heineken: "The opening of Heineken Business Services India is an important milestone in further strengthening the fundamentals that underpin EverGreen 2030. By expanding our global business services footprint, we are supporting more efficient and digitally enabled ways of working, which brings further productivity gains and consistency across the company."
Focus on digital and operational capabilities
The India centre will support finance operations, digital and technology services, data and analytics, and global business process transformation. The company aims to use these capabilities to drive more standardised and efficient processes across its markets.
Ákos Magyari, senior director, Heineken Business Services: "HBS India reflects our long-term commitment to creating a connected global network of Centres. Hyderabad offers deep expertise in digital, AI and business services, and we are excited to expand our capabilities from this strategic location."
Supporting long-term growth strategy
The new hub is designed in line with Heineken’s global workplace standards, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and talent development. It is expected to play a central role in scaling the company’s shared services operations.
Heineken plans to expand its global business services workforce to around 3,000 roles by 2030, with the Hyderabad centre contributing significantly to that growth.
