Clear Channel Outdoor expands ECP Airport deal
The agreement will see the company's Airports Division invest in digital media, experiential activations and advertising displays as the airport undertakes a terminal expansion.
Clear Channel Outdoor has renewed and expanded its advertising partnership with Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP), extending a relationship that began in 2005.
Selected through a competitive process, Clear Channel Outdoor will develop an advertising programme designed to give brands more ways to reach travelers while supporting the airport's commercial growth. The initial contract runs for three years, with an option to renew.
Clear Channel Outdoor Expands Airport Advertising
The investment will introduce a network of double-sided digital flags throughout the concourse, alongside refreshed displays and experiential advertising opportunities. The programme aims to provide greater flexibility for advertisers while integrating media into the passenger environment.
Morten Gotterup, president, Clear Channel Outdoor's Airports Division: "ECP is a market that performs well above its size, and this renewal is a reflection of what a strong collaborative partnership produces over time. As ECP invests in the next generation of its terminal, we have an opportunity to invest into that experience and to build something that reflects both where this airport is today and where it's headed. Our new program will bring together digital, experiential and high-impact media to continue to delight passengers and the brands that want to reach them for years to come."
Northwest Florida Airport Records Passenger Growth
ECP served a record 1.9 million passengers in 2025, representing a 3.1 percent year-on-year increase. The airport serves leisure travelers visiting Florida's Emerald Coast for holidays, short breaks and outdoor recreation.
Airlines operating nonstop and seasonal services from ECP include American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines. Connections to major markets such as Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, Denver, Houston, New York, Chicago and Baltimore give advertisers access to travelers from across the United States.
ECP Advertising Investment Supports Terminal Expansion
Parker W. McClellan Jr., A.A.E., executive director of Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport: "As ECP undergoes this major Terminal Expansion, we are focused on enhancing every element of the traveler experience. Clear Channel's commitment to investing in state-of-the-art digital infrastructure and experiential activations will not only modernize our concourses but also provide powerful new avenues for local and national brands to connect with our growing passenger base. We are proud to build upon our history together and look forward to a new era of innovation that supports ECP's long-term commercial vitality,"
The advertising programme will evolve alongside the airport's terminal expansion, which is scheduled for completion in 2029. The partnership is intended to create additional commercial opportunities as passenger traffic grows, while helping ECP diversify revenue and improve the traveler experience.
