XPPen marks 21st anniversary with global art contest
The anniversary programme is designed to encourage creators to explore different artistic mediums and approaches
XPPen is marking its 21st anniversary with a global creator campaign themed DOODLE THE WORLD, featuring an art toy design contest, artist conversations, an anniversary game and promotional offers. The programme also includes the launch of the Artist Ultra 14 drawing display.
The Global Art Toy Design Contest, organised with art toy brand TOP TOY, invites artists worldwide to reinterpret Zero, TOP TOY’s original character, through collectible designs. The anniversary programme is designed to encourage creators to explore different artistic mediums and approaches.
XPPen and TOP TOY launch global design contest
The contest runs from 16 August to 16 October 2026 and includes three design categories: Null Shell Design, Fenix Shell Design and Zero Figure Design. Participants can draw inspiration from seasons and clothing styles or develop original concepts.

Winners will receive XPPen creative devices, cash prizes, blind boxes and X-Coins from the XPPen Community. Selected designs may also be developed into physical art toys and distributed through TOP TOY stores worldwide.
Artists join XPPen anniversary programme
The judging panel includes Southeast Asian graffiti artist Katun, German illustrator and strategic designer Josephine Rais, Japanese illustrator and contemporary artist Jun Oson, and senior designers from TOP TOY.
Tong Liu, Senior Designer at TOP TOY: "I hope creators can create boldly, not only through colors, but also by exploring more possibilities in subtle elements such as materials and emotions,"
Brian Huang, Marketing Director, XPPen: "At XPPen, we believe creativity should have no boundaries, not limited by mediums or imagination. For 21 years, we have empowered creators with innovative solutions to bring their ideas to life. 'DOODLE THE WORLD' embodies our belief that inspiration can flow freely across paper, screens, and beyond. Through this anniversary celebration and collaboration with TOP TOY, we unite around a shared belief in creativity without boundaries and the power of imagination, while embracing a more youthful and trend-inspired creative culture through the fusion of digital art and designer toy culture."
Artist Ultra 14 joins XPPen product portfolio
XPPen is also introducing the Artist Ultra 14 on 17 August as part of its anniversary programme. The drawing display features Ultra Clear True Color technology and is designed in a slim, portable format.
The Artist Ultra 14 will be offered as a prize in the Global Art Toy Design Contest and the anniversary game hosted on XPPen’s website.
XPPen showcases creative journeys across mediums
The anniversary campaign also features conversations with artists from different disciplines, including tattoo artist Chromakane and multidisciplinary artist Marina Esmeraldo. Their stories explore how drawing can be incorporated into different creative practices and environments.
XPPen is inviting audiences to participate in its 21-Day Doodle Journey and an online spin-the-wheel game, with prizes available to participants. Its online stores will also offer discounts of up to 50 percent on selected products as part of the anniversary programme.
XPPen plans to showcase products and forthcoming launches at IFA 2026, with further details expected during the event.
