McCANN opens Manchester city centre hub

McCann has opened a new growth hub in Manchester’s cultural quarter, expanding its presence into the city centre with offices at Bonded Warehouse in the St John’s media district.

The move extends the agency’s footprint beyond its long-standing Bonis Hall site in Macclesfield and positions the business closer to Manchester’s creative and commercial community. The agency will continue to operate across both locations.

Strengthening presence in Manchester’s creative district

The new office is located within the former Granada Studios complex in the St John’s area, placing McCANN at the centre of Manchester’s media and cultural landscape. The agency aims to strengthen collaboration with clients and sister agencies within the Omnicom network through its city centre base.

The expansion comes as McCANN Manchester continues to deliver campaigns for major UK brands, including Aldi’s Kevin the Carrot and Jammie Dodgers’ return to TV after a decade off air.

Dual-site model supports growth

Bonis Hall will remain the primary base for key capabilities, including McCANN Content Studios, and continue to house integrated creative, production and technology teams. The campus model allows the agency to combine its established Macclesfield operations with closer access to Manchester’s talent pool and industry networks.

Leadership across both locations

McCANN Manchester’s senior leadership team will be based across Bonis Hall and the Bonded Warehouse site. Christian Davis is leading the expansion into the city centre office.
