M+C Saatchi launches podcast-focused studio

M+C Saatchi Talent Group has introduced M+C Saatchi Studios, a podcast and content incubator designed to develop original intellectual property with its roster of talent.

The initiative aims to support creators in building and testing ideas over time, with an emphasis on formats that can deliver long-term value across multiple platforms.

Podcast development at the core of new studio

The studio will initially concentrate on podcast production, working with talent from concept creation through to production and distribution. The approach includes refining ideas and identifying routes to market as projects evolve.

By combining access to studio facilities with established production and monetisation networks, M+C Saatchi Studios provides a structured framework for developing original formats while maintaining a focus on quality and sustainability.

Leadership and partnerships shape offering

M+C Saatchi Studios is led by Emily Rees Jones, Director and Head of Studios, who works alongside agents across the Talent Group to guide development.

The studio has partnered with a London-based production facility and will draw on existing industry relationships to support the creation and scaling of content.

Emily Rees Jones, Director and Head of Studios, M+C Saatchi Talent Group: "Transforming the spark of an idea into something tangible is a brilliant feeling, and this gives us a more focused way to do that. We can work closely with our talent to develop ideas from the ground up, test and refine them, and build formats that have the potential to grow over time."

Focus on scalable, cross-platform formats

The studio’s early projects include a podcast hosted by Josie Gibson, centred on paranormal storytelling. The development slate reflects a broader strategy to build formats that can extend beyond audio.

Katie Lydon, Managing Director, M+C Saatchi Talent Group: "The podcast space is expanding rapidly, and we are placing a clear focus on how we develop within it alongside our talent. Partnership is at the heart of our approach, working with talent as creative collaborators, not just contributors, ensuring they retain ownership of their IP and can build long-term value from their ideas. Our approach will view podcasts as 360° formats, with the potential to extend into TV, live experiences, and broader commercial opportunities. By thinking cross-platform from the outset, we position each project not just as a podcast, but as a scalable and commercially viable brand."

Josie Gibson, TV presenter: "Working with a creative team who truly embrace my madness and run with my ideas is a dream. This podcast is something I've wanted to bring to life for a long time, a space to dive into the supernatural, question the unexplained, and share paranormal stories that genuinely fascinate me. I can't wait for people to step into this world with us - it's going to be eerie, spooky, and unlike anything I've done before."

UK rollout begins with London base

M+C Saatchi Studios will operate from London, with an initial focus on the UK market. The launch reflects the group’s efforts to expand its content capabilities and support talent in developing commercially viable media properties.
