GUT appoints three leaders to global roles
All three executives will report to Global CEO Andrea Diquez
GUT has promoted Joaquin Cubria and Ignacio Ferioli to the newly created roles of global chief creative officers and appointed Renata Neumann as global head of production. The appointments expand the agency's global leadership team as the network continues its international growth.
All three executives will report to Global CEO Andrea Diquez. Joaquin Cubria and Ignacio Ferioli will oversee creative performance across GUT's offices in Miami, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Toronto, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Madrid, New York, Singapore, Bogotá and Copenhagen. Renata Neumann will lead production across the global network and its in-house production offering, Glory.
Global roles support network expansion
Andrea Diquez, Global CEO, GUT: "Joaco, Nacho, and Renata have been indispensable creative forces at GUT, and I am thrilled to partner with them as we continue pushing our brave creativity even further and driving impactful business results for our clients. These key roles strengthen our Global Leadership Team, which partners with our offices around the world to help shape the future of our network. As GUT continues to grow, having a strong global team is essential to ensuring we continue protecting our culture and delivering exceptional work for our clients."
Before their promotions, Joaquin Cubria served as chief creative officer at GUT Buenos Aires, while Ignacio Ferioli held the same role across GUT Europe. Under Joaquin Cubria's leadership, the Buenos Aires office won three Cannes Lions Grand Prix and was named Cannes Lions Agency of the Year. It also received Effies Argentina Agency of the Year in 2023 and Ad Age's International Agency of the Year in 2024. Earlier this year, Joaquin Cubria served as Direct Jury President at Cannes Lions.
Creative partnership expands globally
At GUT Europe, Ignacio Ferioli helped secure global agency of record assignments including Havaianas and Rimowa, marking the agency's entry into the luxury sector. He has also led the global Stella Artois account for the past two years. Before his regional role, Ignacio Ferioli helped establish GUT's Mexico City office.
Joaquin Cubria and Ignacio Ferioli, global chief creative officers, GUT: "We've worked together for more than 20 years. At this point, we don't need to be in the same room to know what the other would push for creatively because we think very much alike. So yes, we'll be two CCOs, but really, we're one creative mind in two bodies and that's a real advantage (consider this shared quote our first piece of evidence). It's an honor to take on this new challenge together."
In their expanded positions, the pair will oversee creative output across all 12 offices, lead global agency of record and project relationships, and support business development across the network.
Renata Neumann takes global production role
Renata Neumann previously served as head of production for North America, where she supported the growth of GUT's Miami headquarters and the launch of offices in Los Angeles, New York and Toronto. She has worked across clients including AB InBev, Tim Hortons, Kraft Heinz, PepsiCo and Kimberly-Clark.
As global head of production, Renata Neumann will oversee production across the network's 12 offices, working with global and local leadership teams to maintain production quality while improving efficiency.
Renata Neumann, global head of production, GUT: "I believe that great work begins with a strong team who are driven to make the impossible happen, and that a producer's impact goes far beyond delivery. I'm committed to helping our creativity thrive in the real world by building trust and continuing to elevate everything we make."
Agency continues international growth
Renata Neumann has led multiple global productions recognised by awards including Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show and The Clios. Her honours include a Titanium Lion and three Cannes Lions Grand Prix. She was also a finalist for Ad Age's Agency Head of Production of the Year in 2022 and was named one of Business Insider's 36 Rising Stars of Madison Avenue in 2019.
According to GUT, the network has grown to more than 2,000 employees across ten countries over the past two years following the integration of parent company Globant's marketing services businesses.
