Getty Images and Greenfly expand social imagery access

Getty Images has introduced Access by Getty Images, an offering developed in partnership with Greenfly that provides talent, creators and industry professionals with real-time access to licensed entertainment imagery for personal social media use. The platform allows users to browse, license and share visuals from major entertainment events for a nominal convenience fee.

Access by Getty Images is designed for talent and individual industry professionals including publicists, stylists, producers, filmmakers, directors and designers. It enables access to imagery from red carpets, premieres, festivals and live events as they take place, addressing the gap between fast-moving cultural moments and the limited or delayed content often available for personal social channels.

Real-time imagery for personal social use

Getty Images and Greenfly identified increasing demand from talent and their teams for clearer, more direct ways to manage how they appear across personal and professional social media. Access by Getty Images responds by offering a consistent method to source and license entertainment imagery, particularly as the 2026 awards season approaches.

The platform reduces reliance on delayed press galleries or unverified sources by offering real-time access to licensed content. As social media plays a larger role alongside traditional event coverage, the service supports timely sharing from events such as The Met Gala, the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and the Toronto International Film Festival.

Partnership combines content and technology

Kirstin Benson, vice president of global entertainment, Getty Images: “We are thrilled to partner with Greenfly on this first-of-its-kind initiative combining our editorial excellence and their leading technology to empower talent and creators alike with elevating their personal brand and online presence as storytellers. Talent and entertainment partners come to our site because they rely on us to capture the big moments and stories. Access by Getty Images provides greater control and flexibility when it comes to content licensing in the entertainment space.”

Daniel Kirschner, co-founder and chief executive officer, Greenfly: “Our culture moves at the speed of social, and talent and their teams deserve imagery that keeps pace. Access by Getty Images brings together Getty Images’ visual storytelling with Greenfly’s content operations infrastructure to address the gap between the red carpet and the social post. This is about giving talent control over their narrative, in real time, with content they can trust.”

Ongoing development and expansion

Greenfly provides short-form content operations for major sports leagues, studios and media companies, supporting real-time storytelling across global sports and entertainment events. Through the partnership, Getty Images and Greenfly plan to continue developing Access by Getty Images throughout 2026 and beyond, introducing additional pricing formats, alerts, event notifications and site navigation features.
