Evian Water marks 200 years with global campaign
Evian is marking 200 years since its first bottling with the launch of a global campaign titled 200 Years Young, combining a brand platform with a creative partnership involving Jeff Koons.
The initiative highlights the brand’s heritage in the French Alps while positioning its long-standing “Live Young” philosophy through a mix of cultural, sports and design-led activations.
Campaign brings together sport and culture
The campaign features Jeff Koons alongside ambassadors including Carlos Alcaraz, Frances Tiafoe, Emma Raducanu and Céline Boutier. Shot at the brand’s source in the French Alps, the creative connects Evian’s origin with its positioning across sport, dining and culture.
The campaign will run in the United States across social and out-of-home channels, forming part of a broader international rollout.
Limited-edition design collaboration
Alongside the campaign, Evian has introduced a collaboration with Jeff Koons, featuring two limited-edition glass bottles. The designs draw on imagery from his Balloon Dog sculpture, applied to still and sparkling variants distributed through selected restaurant partners.

Jeff Koons: "When evian approached me, the message about youth immediately resonated with me. It reflects a truth I deeply believe in: youth is not defined by age, but by a mindset. I've always loved evian natural spring water, so when I was invited to celebrate the brand's 200 Years Young milestone, I was excited to create these special limited-edition bottles. I chose to incorporate my Balloon Dog into the design because it not only echoes the iconic status of the brand itself, but also embodies the spirit of celebration, playfulness, curiosity, and the joy of creating, a moment that feels both life-giving and uplifting."
Packaging rollout extends anniversary theme
Evian is also introducing four limited-edition rPET bottles that reflect its heritage and connection to sport. The packaging will roll out across retail and online channels in the United States from May and remain available through the summer.
The designs aim to extend the anniversary theme into everyday consumption occasions while reinforcing the brand’s origin story.
Heritage rooted in Alpine source
The brand’s positioning continues to centre on its source in Évian-les-Bains, where water is naturally filtered through glacial rock over a 15-year period before emerging at the Cachat Spring. This origin remains a defining element of Evian’s identity and long-term stewardship efforts.
Fran Mulhern, Senior Vice President, Danone: "Celebrating 200 years is a powerful milestone for evian and a testament to the generations of care that have protected our source. In the U.S., we're honoring that legacy by bringing the evian origin and heritage story to life in the moments and places that shape culture, while continuing to elevate everyday rituals through premium, mountain-made hydration."
