Channel 4 launches Partner Lab to drive creative brand collaborations

Channel 4 Sales has introduced Partner Lab, a new in-house creative partnerships team designed to help brands develop standout campaigns across the broadcaster’s full ecosystem. Rooted in Channel 4’s mission to create change through entertainment, Partner Lab will encourage brands to experiment and push creative boundaries through bespoke cross-platform collaborations.

The initiative will deliver solutions across partnerships, sponsorship, creative strategy, and production, bringing together expertise in storytelling and brand integration. Partner Lab aims to set a new standard in how broadcasters collaborate with advertisers to produce work that resonates culturally while maintaining editorial integrity.

Integrated creative solutions across TV, streaming and branded content

The Partnerships and Sponsorship division will manage campaigns spanning Channel 4’s television, streaming, social, and branded entertainment platforms. The Creative Strategy team will translate brand objectives into ideas that align with Channel 4’s creative DNA, while the Production unit will ensure execution stays true to the broadcaster’s editorial voice.

Partner Lab is part of Channel 4 Sales’ ongoing Fast Forward strategy, which focuses on an advertiser-first approach and follows recent developments such as the launch of a new UK advertising marketplace.

Bringing cultural insight to brand storytelling

Emma Hopkins, Partner Lab leader, Channel 4 Sales: "Partner Lab is built for brands that want to stand out and tap into Channel 4’s unique ecosystem to drive cultural resonance, deliver unrivalled reach and access the most trusted environments. Through the Partner Lab we’re pairing Channel 4’s content expertise and cultural understanding with clients’ objectives to create work that feels naturally at home within our world."

Supporting the new structure, Dan MacDonnell has been appointed Partner Lab Media Strategy Lead, responsible for driving campaign development, while Katherine Marlow joins as AFP Senior Lead, commercially supporting all producer-led advertiser-funded programming campaigns.
