Born Social launches global creator platform

The platform combines Born Social's creator communities with parent company Croud's Croudie Network technology

Born Social has launched the Born Creator Community (BCC), a creator platform designed to help brands produce social-first content through networks of vetted creators across multiple markets.

The platform combines Born Social's creator communities with parent company Croud's Croudie Network technology, which the company says streamlines creator onboarding, selection, briefing, feedback and content delivery while maintaining creative oversight and brand consistency.

Platform combines creators and technology

Born Creator Community offers brands perpetual usage rights, allowing creator content to be repurposed across social media, customer relationship management, websites and paid media. The agency said it recruits bespoke creator communities for each client, enabling brands to produce locally relevant content while maintaining a consistent creative strategy across markets.

The platform supports a range of content formats, including product demonstrations, tutorials, lifestyle storytelling, event coverage, street interviews and creator-led entertainment. Born Social said the platform is managed through a mobile-first system that automates creator management processes.

Pilot includes global brands

The launch follows a pilot with clients including Stanley, Premier Inn, Guinness, Smirnoff and Thermacell. According to Born Social, campaigns for Stanley generated more than 869,000 organic impressions and 23,000 new followers across five European markets over three months. For Premier Inn, the agency said the platform delivered more than 500,000 organic reach, a 2.5 per cent engagement rate and 40 pieces of content across five UK locations during the same period.

Callum McCahon, chief strategy officer, Croud and Born Social: "Generative AI is changing the economics of content production, but it is also creating a new challenge for brands: how to stay human, distinctive and culturally relevant at scale. The Born Creator Community was built to solve that tension. It combines the efficiency of technology with the creativity, local knowledge and cultural understanding of real people, helping brands produce social-first content at the speed and volume today's platforms demand.

"As social feeds become increasingly saturated with AI-generated creative, we believe the brands that win will be those that find ways to scale human creativity rather than replace it."

Focus on creator-led production

Olivia Wedderburn, head of influence, Born Social: "This is a new model for creator-led production, bringing together integrated influence and creator-generated content to help brands create work that feels native, useful and real. Brands don't just need more content - they need content that resonates with audiences without defaulting to generic or synthetic creative. At a time when people are more sceptical than ever about what they're seeing online, real people and authentic perspectives have become one of the most effective ways for brands to build trust and credibility."

Richard Green, social media marketing manager at Premier Inn: "Premier Inn has over 850 hotels from Perth to Penzance, so it's vital we show the length and breadth of the country in our marketing. Having local creators gives us a real competitive advantage: we see where they live through a local lens, they allow us to activate at short notice with few logistics, and we get consistent creative excellence and a variety of styles from across the Born Creator Community."

Agency expands integrated offering

The launch follows a period of growth for Born Social. Callum McCahon recently expanded his role to chief strategy officer across both Born Social and Croud, while the agency has also added clients including Nikon and Thermacell.
