Havas and F.Y. Eye complete nonprofit accelerator

Havas strategists and local artists worked directly with frontline leaders throughout a five-month curriculum, providing strategic storytelling skills and agency tools that organisations can continue to use beyond the programme.

Havas and social impact media organisation F.Y. Eye have completed the Nonprofit Co-Lab accelerator, a five-month programme that paired six New York City nonprofits with local artists and Havas volunteer teams to develop and execute public service announcement campaigns. The programme is designed to build long-term capacity within participating nonprofits.

This year’s programme expanded its reach, with donated media placements from Captivate, Curb, LinkNYC and the F.Y. Eye PSA Network generating an estimated 280 million impressions and more than $1 million in combined media value.

The six participating organisations addressed issues including human trafficking, cultural heritage, community services, education, food access and environmental resources. Restore NYC focused on human trafficking, while Queensboro Dance Festival used dance to celebrate belonging and cultural heritage.

United Neighborhood Houses promoted its network of settlement houses and their community services. Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison highlighted college education as a route towards safer communities, while GrowNYC encouraged New Yorkers to use SNAP and EBT benefits at greenmarkets across the five boroughs.

Bronx River Alliance’s campaign encouraged New Yorkers to reclaim the Bronx River as a safe and swimmable community space. Each campaign was developed through strategy sessions, creative feedback and coaching from Havas leadership and external experts in media planning and public service messaging.

Greg James, CEO, Havas Media Network North America: "We believe our industry has a responsibility to use creativity and our capabilities to create impact beyond our clients’ businesses. We’re proud to see how our partnership with F.Y. Eye has delivered meaningful impact for these six nonprofit organizations and the communities they serve".

Havas and F.Y. Eye prepare next Co-Lab cohort

Christina Daigneault, Chief Executive Officer, F.Y. Eye: "Grassroots nonprofits do critical work on the frontlines of our city every day, yet too often, they lack access to the strategic and creative resources needed to make their stories heard at the scale they deserve. Over the past three years, the Nonprofit Co-Lab has shown what’s possible when you pair the talent and capabilities of the advertising industry with the lived expertise of frontline organizations. The result is more than powerful campaigns—it’s lasting capacity, a stronger and more equitable media ecosystem, and stories that move people to action."

Adam Rattner, Chief Growth Officer, Havas Media Network and F.Y. Eye Board Member: "What made this program so meaningful was seeing the transformational impact our teams were able to create for organizations that otherwise wouldn’t have had access to this level of strategic communications expertise. By bringing together the talent and capabilities of Havas, we helped these nonprofits amplify their missions, strengthen their visibility, and unlock opportunities that may not have been possible otherwise. That’s the power of using our expertise to create meaningful impact beyond our clients."

Lizclaire Tamam, Director, Marketing & Media at Curb: "We’re proud to partner with Havas and F.Y. Eye to help amplify nonprofit messages that connect people with vital resources and strengthen the communities we serve. Partnerships like this demonstrate the positive impact media can have beyond advertising."

Sean Pica, President, Hudson Link: "Thanks to the F.Y. Eye Nonprofit Co-Lab accelerator program, Hudson Link for Higher Education has shone a spotlight on the untapped potential of formerly incarcerated New Yorkers to drive positive change in our society. By championing workforce integration and the transformative power of education, we can pave the way for second chances and a brighter future for all."

Havas will return as presenting partner for the next Nonprofit Co-Lab cohort, which is scheduled to begin in fall 2026. F.Y. Eye and Havas are already preparing the next programme.
