TBWA\Media Arts elevates Matt Paterno and Parker Adame to creative directors

TBWA\Media Arts Lab (MAL), Apple’s global creative agency, has promoted Matt Paterno and Parker Adame to group creative directors in its Los Angeles office. The long-time creative partners will continue to report to Brent Anderson, global chief creative officer.

Paterno and Adame have worked together at Media Arts Lab for more than seven years, producing some of Apple’s most celebrated campaigns, including Flock for Apple’s privacy platform, Heartstrings for the brand’s annual holiday film, Quiet the Noise and Jump for AirPods Pro. Their work has earned four Emmy nominations and includes the reimagining of the iconic Silhouettes campaign featuring Harry Styles.

Recognising creative partnership and craft

Brent Anderson, global chief creative officer, TBWA\Media Arts Lab: “Matt and Parker represent the best of what Media Arts Lab stands for — relentless creative appetite, meticulous craft, and an unwavering commitment to making impact for Apple. Their promotion to group creative directors is a testament to both their individual talents and the strength of their partnership.”

Before joining Media Arts Lab, both Paterno and Adame worked at TBWA\Chiat\Day, where they created award-winning campaigns for Gatorade.

Matt Paterno: “Working with Parker has brought the best out of me, the teams we collaborate with, and the work itself. He has an uncanny ability to recognise what truly matters, always extracting it — in both concept and execution — in its purest form.”

Parker Adame: “Matt is the rare mix of instinct and discipline — wildly talented yet deliberate in his craft. He shapes creative with unbelievable precision and elevates everyone around him. Collaborating with him has been the highlight of my career.”

Expanding leadership across Apple’s creative ecosystem

As group creative directors, Paterno and Adame will oversee multiple creative teams, guiding work across Apple’s global campaigns, platforms, and products.

Paterno and Adame: “For us, this promotion isn’t just recognition — it’s a reminder of what’s possible when a team moves with shared purpose. From here, our focus is on building space for great work and great people and shaping the department into a place where everyone can grow,” they said.
