The global content creator economy is expected to continue its rapid expansion, with market size projected to grow from 125.11 billion dollars in 2024 to 160.91 billion dollars in 2025, reflecting a compound annual growth rate of 28.6 percent. By 2029, the market is forecast to reach 436.71 billion dollars, growing at 28.4 percent annually. This is according to a report by Research and Markets.
The market’s momentum is being driven by the adoption of AI in content creation, the rise of blockchain-based monetization, increased demand for personalized content, the growth of subscription and direct fan support models, and higher brand investment in influencer partnerships.
Video remains a major driver of the creator economy, fueled by mobile adoption and expanding internet access. According to the Australian Communications and Media Authority, 91 percent of Australians accessed online video services in December 2024, compared with 83 percent the year before. This trend is expected to further enhance creator engagement and monetization opportunities while attracting brand partnerships.
Other emerging trends include AI-generated content, immersive formats using AR and VR, decentralized social media platforms, and more advanced audience analytics.
Market players are increasingly developing tools that provide creators with real-time performance insights to optimize content and maximize revenue. In November 2024, Amazon introduced Creator Central in India, offering educational resources, analytics, and tools to help creators grow their audiences and increase earnings within Amazon’s ecosystem.
In December 2024, NeoReach acquired Influencers.com and partnered with Blueberry AI. The deal expanded NeoReach’s influencer-brand collaboration capabilities and added AI-driven tools for audience growth and content management.
