Omnicom named Leader in IDC AI services assessment

IDC highlighted Omnicom’s breadth of services across experience design, creative, media, data and identity.

Omnicom has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide AI-Enabled Adobe Professional Services 2026 Vendor Assessment, recognising its capabilities in combining Adobe technology with strategic consulting, creative services and marketing expertise.

The assessment, published in October 2026, evaluated providers on their current capabilities and the alignment of their long-term strategies with client needs over the next three to five years.

IDC recognises Omnicom’s Adobe expertise

Douglas Hayward, Senior Research Director, IDC: “Omnicom stands out for its ability to pair strategic, value-focused thinking about clients’ Adobe roadmaps with the creative and technical depth to execute against it. Clients described a partner that takes a long-term view of their business and balances pragmatism with creativity in how it solves problems. That combination of strategic vision and practical delivery is what distinguishes companies who are named a Leader in this space.”

The report also identified Omnicom as a potential partner for organisations seeking expertise across marketing and technology, supported by a value-focused approach to client engagements.

Omnicom expands AI partnership with Adobe

The recognition follows Omnicom’s expansion of its partnership with Adobe to co-develop an enterprise-grade, industry-specific AI Agentic Operating Model solution. The offering combines Omnicom’s sector expertise, Omni’s agentic capabilities, Acxiom’s data and identity assets, and Adobe’s enterprise marketing and creative technology.

The solution coordinates strategy, creative development, planning, activation and measurement for clients across retail, financial services, pharmaceuticals and automotive. The approach aims to help organisations move from AI strategy to production through integrated technology and agency services.

Omnicom strengthens AI-driven marketing transformation

Paolo Yuvienco, CTO, Omnicom: “We believe this recognition reflects the strength of our Adobe Practice, which has the depth of a technology partner and the strategic and creative rigor of our award-winning agencies, while giving clients one point of entry to both. That combination is what allows us to help clients move from strategy to activation faster, and it’s why we view our partnership with Adobe as one of the foundational elements of how we deliver marketing transformation at scale.”

Omnicom is a Platinum Digital Experience partner of Adobe and holds seven Regional Solution Partner Specializations and three Adobe Accredited Partner Solutions. The company is also one of three globally recognised preferred partners for Adobe Content Supply Chain.

Omnicom builds on Adobe partner credentials

The group has more than 2,000 Adobe-related professionals across its network, including certified specialists who work across Adobe’s technology portfolio. Its industry recognition also includes the Adobe Digital Experience Partner of the Year awards for the Americas and the UK and Ireland in 2025.

The IDC MarketScape assessment adds to Omnicom’s positioning in AI-enabled marketing services, highlighting the role of its Adobe expertise, consulting capabilities and agency network in delivering technology-led marketing transformation.
