Anneke Schogt steps down as CEO of Ogilvy Netherlands
Leadership change follows the appointment of a Benelux CEO structure within Ogilvy
Ogilvy has announced a leadership change in the Netherlands, with Anneke Schogt stepping down as CEO after approximately 18 months in the role.
Schogt assumed the position in January 2025 and departs following a restructuring within parent company WPP. The move comes after the appointment of Rob Hill as Benelux CEO for Ogilvy, a new regional leadership structure that effectively eliminated the standalone CEO role for the Netherlands.
Schogt exits the agency on a high note. During the recent Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Ogilvy Netherlands contributed to two Silver Lion-winning campaigns, underscoring the agency's creative momentum during her tenure.
In a post on LinkedIn, Schogt expressed her gratitude to Ogilvy's EMEA CEO, Patou Nuytemans, for the opportunity and support throughout her leadership.
While she has not announced her next professional move, Schogt indicated that new adventures lie ahead.
The leadership transition reflects WPP's broader strategy of consolidating leadership responsibilities across the Benelux region under a single executive structure.
