Criteo partners with Notino to expand retail media in Europe
Under the partnership, Notino will transition its retail media activities to Criteo's platform, offering brands access to Sponsored Products Ads, Onsite Display and Onsite Video formats.
Criteo has partnered with European online beauty retailer Notino to expand retail media opportunities across 27 European markets, providing beauty brands with access to advertising solutions powered by the retailer's first-party data.
The collaboration covers markets including Germany, France, Italy, the UK, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Hungary and Croatia.
Criteo powers Notino's retail media advertising solutions
Criteo's technology will support Notino's onsite advertising formats, helping brands reach consumers throughout the shopping journey, from product discovery and consideration to purchase.
The solutions also allow advertisers to engage shoppers exploring a particular need without necessarily having a specific product in mind. Brands can select formats according to campaign objectives and use performance reporting and media insights to evaluate results and optimise campaigns.
The offering is powered by Notino's first-party data, providing brands with insights to support campaign targeting and measurement.
Partnership targets expansion into omnichannel retail media
The companies intend to extend their collaboration beyond onsite advertising, with offsite media and the integration of offline sales data among the areas planned for exploration.
Offline data onboarding would support omnichannel targeting and measurement, allowing brands to assess campaign performance across different retail environments.
The partnership also aims to support greater standardisation across retail media, as the sector continues to develop its measurement and advertising capabilities.
Alex Crowe, Managing Director, Retail Media, EMEA, Criteo: "Retail Media is evolving quickly, and beauty is a category where discovery and commerce are closely connected. Notino brings deep category expertise and a distinctive pan-European presence; Criteo brings retail media technology and in-depth experience to support its continued development. We're excited to partner with Notino to put those strengths into action, starting with onsite."
Notino positions its network as a European growth platform
Bartosz Kliś, Co-CEO and Chief Growth Officer, Notino: "For beauty brands, expanding across Europe has always been a complex challenge, but this partnership transforms it into an unprecedented strategic opportunity. By combining Criteo's technology with our proprietary channels and an ecosystem of 40 million customers, we are redefining how brands build their marketing power. Our vision is absolute: Notino is the definitive gateway to Europe. We provide a single, highly measurable growth engine across 27 markets, empowering brands to seamlessly turn our vast pan-European reach into their own competitive advantage."
The partnership will give advertisers access to Notino's customer base across its European markets through a centralised retail media platform.
Šárka Černá, Retail Media Director, Notino: "Brands want simple access, transparent reporting and results they can measure. With Criteo's technology behind our Sponsored Products, Onsite Display and Onsite Video formats, built on Notino's first-party data, we can offer exactly that. Onsite is the first step. Our focus now is to make it easy for brands to plan, run, and evaluate their campaigns with us. Together with Criteo, we want to build on this with our partners, with offsite and offline data as the areas we intend to explore next."
