Click Labs acquires startup Evermile to power AI-driven retail operations for SMEs

Click Labs, a global SaaS player in logistics and on-demand delivery software, has acquired Evermile, a London- and Tel Aviv-based AI retail operations platform built for SME retailers. The acquisition strengthens Click Labs’ position in the retail tech space and brings advanced automation and AI capabilities to small and mid-sized retailers worldwide.

With AI reshaping e-commerce, SME retailers are under increasing pressure to enhance operations and customer experience - without the large teams, tech capabilities or budgets that big brands rely on. This acquisition delivers a timely solution: enterprise-grade automation, built specifically for smaller businesses. The combined platform will accelerate product innovation, simplify daily operations and empower retailers to deliver more connected, personalised experiences at scale.

Evermile platform acts as a “virtual operations manager” for modern retail - automating daily workflows typically handled manually by SME teams. Its AI Agents and proprietary orchestration engine handle everything from order prep and delivery assignment to SLA tracking, support resolution and personalised customer engagement - freeing up time while improving consistency and customer satisfaction.

Since launching in 2023, Evermile has powered hundreds of thousands of orders and supported the daily operations of thousands of independent retailers across the UK. It has become a trusted partner to brands like Ottolenghi, CakeBox, and Paul’s Bakery, helping businesses in food, fashion, wine, pharmacies and other retail verticals grow - without the complexity of traditional enterprise systems.

Omer Goldschmidt, Co-founder and CEO, Evermile: ''We built Evermile to close the technology gap for independent retailers. Our mission has always been to help small teams compete at the highest level, without needing complex, expensive tools or large teams. By joining Click Labs, we can now take that mission global - across more markets, verticals and delivery models.''

The deal also marks Click Labs’ expansion into the retail operations space, offering retailers an end-to-end platform that spans the entire customer journey - from website checkout to doorstep delivery and post-purchase experience. Evermile will continue to operate as a standalone brand in the near term, while its technology is gradually integrated into Click Labs’ flagship products, including JungleWorks, Tookan, Yelo and Hippo and deployed across key markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC.

Samar Singla, CEO, Click Labs: ''Evermile brings exceptional technology, deep operational expertise, and a platform that merchants love. Together, we’ll help retailers simplify operations, deliver seamless experiences, and grow smarter in a demanding market.''

The acquisition follows a broader trend of consolidation across the logistics and retail tech space, driven by a shift in retailer expectations. Recent deals - such as DoorDash’s acquisition of SevenRooms, Uber’s investment in Trendyol, and GlobalE’s purchase of ReturnGO - reflect the growing demand for unified platforms that streamline operations. Retailers are increasingly frustrated with stitching together fragmented tools. Instead, they’re turning to single platforms that can manage everything - from fulfillment and delivery to customer communication and retention.
