The Mood Center selects Vitamin for PR

Vitamin, a full-service branding, website design and development, digital marketing, and public relations agency, has been appointed agency of record for public relations by The Mood Center, as the mental health provider expands awareness of its treatment offerings across Maryland.

The partnership will support The Mood Center’s operations in Annapolis and Columbia, with a focus on strengthening relationships with referring healthcare providers and increasing public understanding of treatment options for patients experiencing complex mental health conditions.

Focus on education and provider engagement

The Mood Center provides treatments including IV ketamine therapy, SPRAVATO (esketamine), and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for individuals experiencing treatment-resistant depression and related conditions.

The therapies are also used to support patients dealing with anxiety, PTSD, suicidal ideation, chronic pain, migraines and Lyme disease when conventional treatments have not delivered results.

Brad Masters, COO and CMO of The Mood Center: "Our focus is really on meeting people where they are and making sure that both providers and patients understand what's possible when it comes to treating depression today.

"Across Annapolis and Columbia, we've built a model around thoughtful, evidence-based care and close collaboration with the provider community. Our partnership with Vitamin helps us share that approach more broadly and connect more people to care that's truly making a difference."

A key element of the engagement will centre on education initiatives aimed at helping providers better understand emerging therapies while giving patients clearer access to information about available treatment options.

Strategic communications support

Vitamin will lead strategic communications activities for The Mood Center, including media relations, thought leadership and content development.

The agency will also oversee content strategy and social media support designed to strengthen engagement with referring providers and maintain visibility among prospective patients.

While both Maryland locations remain central to the organisation’s operations, The Mood Center identified its Columbia office as an important growth area as it continues to increase patient capacity.

Michael Karfakis, Partner of Client Success & Operations at Vitamin: "We're incredibly excited to welcome The Mood Center into our healthcare and behavioral health work at Vitamin.

"There's a real opportunity to elevate this story, strengthen provider relationships, and help more individuals connect to care that can truly change lives."
