Havas first half of the year revenue hits €1.41B on AI and North America strength
Global communications group Havas posted a second consecutive quarter of organic growth acceleration, with net revenue rising by 2.6% on an organic basis in Q2 2025, up from 2.1% in the first quarter. Total revenue for the first half of the year reached €1.41 billion, reflecting a 3.1% year-on-year increase. The company attributes this momentum to robust client wins, continued investments in artificial intelligence, and strong performance in North America.
Yannick Bolloré, Chairman and CEO, Havas: "Havas has delivered a solid first half of the year, achieving organic growth of +2.3% and driving dynamic new business momentum, particularly in North America. Our global strategy—now evolved into Converged.AI—is clearly bearing fruit and delivering meaningful impact for our clients worldwide."
The North American region led the growth, with 4.6% organic growth in Q2, fueled by double-digit expansion in the Havas Health business line. Europe saw a rebound, especially in France and the UK, while Latin America maintained strong performance with 8.6% organic growth in H1. However, APAC and Africa posted a decline due to reduced client activity in China.
Havas’ three main business lines contributed to the results: Havas Creative (41%), Havas Media (36%), and Havas Health (23%) of total net revenue. The Group also strengthened its offering through five strategic acquisitions across Europe and the Americas and announced new partnerships with Ostro and YouGov.
Bolloré: "As we continue to scale our AI-powered product suite, we are committed to equipping all our teams with the tools to ensure that technology and creativity reinforce one another across our organization."
Adjusted Earnings before interest and taxes, EBIT, rose by 8.3% to €144 million, with margin improving to 10.7%. Despite higher net financial expenses driven by foreign exchange losses, net income attributable to the Group increased to €74 million.
Havas confirmed its 2025 outlook, including organic revenue growth above 2%, an EBIT margin target between 12.5% and 13.5%, and a 40% dividend payout ratio. A reverse share split will also be implemented later this year as part of capital restructuring.
As Havas enters the second half of 2025, Bolloré remains confident
Bolloré: "I want to thank our clients for their continued trust and our teams for their outstanding creativity that continues to set us apart."
